Three generations, one chair at a time
Arthur Whitcombe opened the doors at 14 High Street in 1958 with two chairs, a strop and a reputation for the sharpest short back and sides in town. Today his grandson keeps the same standards with the same attention to detail, and the same welcome for every customer.
We still lather by hand, still warm our towels the old way and still believe a good haircut should never be rushed. Come in for a trim and stay for the conversation.
